I'm having problems with Bert taking his vitamins...lol

I dust Bert's mealies with calcium most of the days, which is fine. He doesn't mind that. I've even seen him lick calcium out of his calcium dish in his cage so no problems there. However, once a week I dust his food with a multivitamin. He hates the taste of that. He will only eat about half his normal amount on that day. And when he does eat on that day, he looks disgusted and starts wiping his mouth all over the side of his mealworm dish. Sometimes I swear it looks like he wants to spit the food out. He looks like a kid eating broccoli. Is there a multivitamin that seems to taste better to them? Has anyone else had this problem?

You could try repashy calcium plus, it is like a calcium and multivitamin all in one. You can even dust with it at every feeding, if you want.

+1! I use Repashy Calcium Plus, I just dust every feeder with it and there is no need for additional supplements. Sometimes they take right to it, sometimes it takes a few days. But once they take the plunge they eat it up like little piggies!
