Dusting feeders with pure calcium and multivitamin?

I have a 6.5" leo with the following supplements:

Zoomed Repti Calcium w/ D3

Zoomed Repti Calcium w/o D3

Rep-Cal Herptivite(blue label) multivitamin

What I'm wondering is how often weekly should I use the stuff? As of right now, I have the pure calcium in a little dish always in the terrarium, I use the calcium with D3 1-2 times a week and the multivitamin is once a week. I thought this was fine until somebody said they dusted pure calcium on mealworms 2-3 times a week. And can anyone tell me about these pockets?; mite pockets, fat pockets and calcium pockets. I've never noticed any pockets except for the little hollow behind his arm, like an armpit.

Your feeding regiment is just fine. Some people like to offer the calcium in a dish so that the geckos lick it as needed, others choose to dust. Make sure that your vitamins contains vit A as its deficiency may lead to skin and eye issues. Many, many forum members recommend Repashy's Calcium Plus because it's an all-in -one, you may want to look into it. I dont see a picture of your "pockets" if they look like bubbles, they store calcium and protein.

I don't personally think it's a good idea for people to be mixing supplements unless they're very knowledgeable and experienced. The chances of an imbalance are pretty high. For example, none of those contain any vitamin A, and you might be doubling up on D3 by using the Zoo Med and Herptivite (I can't find any description on what's actually in Herptivite). I personally would go with Repashy and use as directed.

The multivitamin(rep cal herptivite) has beta carotene which their bodies convert to vitamin A. It's like an inactive form until they convert it so they can't overdose

The 2 Zoo Med products are intended to be used together. Many of the most experienced breeders supplement with Herptivite to provide the geckos with amino acids not found in other supplements. Hypervitaminosis is extremely rare in reptiles by the way,
