My juvenile Leopard Gecko became impacted and almost died. I was able to clear the impaction, but due to not receiving calcium for a prolonged time and feeding off her fat storage only her wrist became inflamed and disfigured. Is there a way to rectify this or will her abnormality be permanent?

Are you meaning she got MBD? If so, her leg will not straighten. She can, however regain her strength through regular supplements and proper conditions. I have a Leo with MBD in three of her legs, and at one point she barely walked. I gave her liquid calcium drops daily, calcium powder on her crickets, and a very simple set up so she couldn't further hurt herself, and now, her legs are still severely crooked, but she walks like a normal gecko would. :)

Hope I helped!

Do you have a picture of her wrist? It could be from MBD but also could be from gout or something else. What are you supplementing her with now?

I'd have to say that looks like MBD.

This is my girl, foster, after I corrected the problem, but it doesn't go away. Your Leos leg looks very similar to hers in the front there.
