I will go and get the ingredients for the slurry tomorrow as I am not working. I pray I didnt over dose her. I use a 1ml serynge but instead of squeezing into her mouth I just let a pin prick amount touch her lower lip and let her lick. Did it afew times. So it could be lesser then 0.01ml that I gave her.will keep and eye on her poop. Gave her extra water bowl. She was very agitated when I tried to hold her n give the meds. Like she tired to run away a few times .

She's asleep. Think the lack of food and stress made her really lethargic. . Its 5am here where I am. 20150226_045140.jpg

Thank you for all your help. Will keep this page updated.

She actually looks to still be in good body. For a substitute cat food to use with the slurry go with an organic canned food that is in a pate (no gravy)... Innova, Nourish, Blue Buffalo, Wellness, Merrick, etc. Limited Ingredients would be best.

Panacur will make a Leo very sleepy and lethargic. This is normal. Although, I HIGHLY recommend staying as close to the prescribed dosage as possible fenbendazole (Panacur) is a pretty safe medication with a low overdose rate so going a bit over won't likely hurt.

Here is the best explanation of dosing I can find. It is from Marcia at Golden Gate Gecko:

Do NOT put the syringe in her mouth. Continue to let her lap it off of the syringe or her snout. Leos have their trachea on the bottom of their mouths and when syringe feeding it is extremely easily to accidentally introduce foods and liquids into the lungs. This can and will lead to aspiration pneumonia. [emoji20]

Best of luck with her! :)

i actually put pin drops on ther lower jaw. so she just licks. but using a syringe for 0.01ml was hard, so halfway i just put adrop on my finger and touch her lower jaw multiple times. will get the ingridents and mix it tomorrow. will feed are the same way. 1ml of food one drop at a time below her lower jaw(so i wont accedently hit her nose with food.)

thank you guys very much for helping me through this. this was her poop this morning(she pooped 2 time yesterday:( )

You're welcome. [emoji4]

It is really hard to get the dosing right. They make syringes that small, but not sure where you would be able to find one over there, so diluting it would be your best bet. Feeding and medicating her by putting it on her nose/mouth is the best way to go, so continue doing that. :) Then you don't have to worry about aspiration and it isn't as traumatic or stressful for her, either.

It looks as if her poop may be a bit more solid. It'll be a few days to a week until you see a real difference I think.

I will keep sending out positive vibes. [emoji4]

I doubt she is impacted. I would guess parasites, but there is really no way of knowing without tests.

I would remove the moss and replace with wet paper towels. Definitely an important thing you can do is keep everything VERY clean. Every day, remove the previous day's paper towels, spray the tank down with a dilute alcohol solution (after removing her, of course), make sure to remove all the alcohol, and place new paper towels. Change the ones in her humid hide too. The purpose of this would be to stop her from increasing her parasite load by having access to the places where she pooped and potentially discarded parasites or eggs.

she still refuse to drink. and when i tried to hold her she keeps struggling, so i just tried to feed he drop by drop in her tank. when i put a drop on her lip, she wipes her head on the towel........ only manage to give her 0.4ml... left a glass dish with the balance 0.6ml. will try again tomorrow.

clean the whole tank daily?? including washing all the hides? goner have to but a large bottle of tank cleaner and paper towels.... i did remove the moss and replace with the paper towels. i do spot change everyday and was the cool hide that she poops on daily.

PS: shes grump... shes staring at me from her hide...

No need to clean the hides, just replace the paper towels and spray with an alcohol solution (this will do a better job of killing parasites) in the places where she pooped, including hides if she poops on the hides.

Good job getting all the ingredients. That's okay that you didn't get a lot in her. She is still a good weight, so now you just have to maintain that weight until she starts eating again. =)

That looks less mucus-y, so maybe that is good.

She probably won't want to eat while under treatment. Just keep up with the slurry. Try putting a little drop on her nose and she will lick it off and keep doing it. You can try letting her stay in her tank so it's less stressful. You don't need to get a lot into her, they don't take a lot to maintain weight. It's just better to maintain it instead of letting her drop weight and trying to get her to gain it again.
