She hasn't eaten in a week. She ate a very large Dubai Roach last Sunday. I think it was too big. She has refused to eat ever since.

she did have a few bowel movements earlier in the week. The last 2 were just the white part and no brown poo. I gave her a little baby food with some fiber con mixed in. I also gave her a warm soak. She did another little a white poo/water thing.

she is not on sand. She has reptile carpet. I'm calling her vet Tomorrow. Any advice until then? I'm really worried about her. I feel like an awful owner.

How did Nix make out? Usually, if the heat's right, they can digest any insect that they manage to swallow, but I suppose she could have some other issue impacting her system. :(

I took her to the vet. After a through exam he thinks she is going to lay eggs. She laid an egg last year around this time. She was on a 3 week hunger strike that time. I made her a nest box, which of course she doesn't like.
the vet said she needs to lose weight. When I had her there last year she weighed 50 grams. This year she weighs 80!! When I mentioned she's a lousy hunter he said it's probably because she can't drag her big belly around.
she is going on 2 weeks of not eating. The vet had me feed her some baby food and she pooped. I'm just leaving her alone and am hoping she gets these eggs laid. She has proven to be a challenge!!

That actually makes a lot of sense (the eggs). And if she's that hefty, prepare yourself for long periods of not eating from now on. My male sometimes goes on a strike for a month if he doesn't feel like eating (and he doesn't even drop a gram!).

Just make sure she has access to plenty of calcium for egg production then, and feed her between clutches if she'll eat. :) Glad to hear it wasn't anything serious.
