PLEASE HELP!! Odd eating/drinking situation

Just got a call from the vet-the Acid Fast Stain came back positive for crypto His respiratory rate and effort were also troubling, so the vet is putting him on a drug that will be helpful for both. Time to rip that place "where the pets go" a new a**hole...

Bizarre turn of events: PCR test came back negative for crypto.

Hmm, one of the tests must have been a false positive/false negative. I suppose you will need another test to confirm. =/

Sometimes I see poops like that when I switch certain leo's from their main staple food, or if they've gone off food a while and try to have a big meal one day. If you can find dubia roaches maybe try a small batch of those and see if he's interested in eating.

In your original post you said he'd had a possible infection - could this have come back? Would also explain a lack of interest in food and the strange poops.

Some of those stores are better than others. Have personally not had any issues with the leo's I've bought, and all have been from chain stores. Though the ones around here do tend to take better care of their reptiles.
