Very small adult geckos.

I've been noticing that everyone has these monster geckos over 60g or at least 50g

My two adult females weigh 35g and 47g
I'm concerned as to why the smaller one is so small compared to the others. My 6 month just outgrew her.

This is her, she's proportional, if not a little overweight for her size.
This could not be due to temps, my temps are confirmed to be good.
She eats a few mealworms every other day and 10 crickets once a week.

There was a complete month that she went off food.

Could this be the pet store's fault? I recieved her about 4-5 months old.

Is this due to poor keeping, or is she simply naturally small?

That's not relatively bad for an adult , I have a fully grown female which appears much smaller than that. Just like us humans you'll get different sizes of leopard geckos,some will typically grow to be small because it's not in their genes to be big, although some others could've been impacted by lack of calcium or vitamins etc . It's not something you should worry about ,as long as they appear healthy and are eating alright then everything should be fine

Here's my small adult female that's just over a year old, notice how tiny she is . She's 40 grams on the dot (doesn't even look like it )

Well the main reason it concerns me is because they should be at least 45g to breed, and I'm scared she could become egg bound if she develops infertiles.

To be safe wait around 1 and a half years , if they're still that size naturally without the cause of defects then they'll develop relatively small eggs appropriate to their size (so its essirr delivering them )that are healthy and will /usually hatch out beautiful juvies (well at least in my experience).

Some geckos are just small. Sometimes it has to do with nutrition, but sometimes it's just natural variation in size. If your geckos is a good weight for her size and old enough, I don't think breeding will be a problem. Small people are able to have babies, after all. =)

If it makes you feel any better, I think it's relatively rare for female leos not exposed to a male to lay. It does happen, but it's never happened in all my years of gecko keeping and I don't hear about it too often.
