I bought my 5 month old gecko about 3 days ago from a breeder. He has been eating well every night and doesn't show any signs of lethargy, BUT he hasn't pooped at all yet. Is this normal? Does he look impacted? What should I do

3 days isn't a huge amount of time, IMO. Did this breeder keep the gecko on a loose substrate? The gecko's underbelly looks normal to me.

You can give a warm bath (the water should only feel mildly warm to you). This can help move things along.

Make sure your temps are correct (90 F on the warm side, no higher than 75 F on the cool side). Proper temps influence digestion.

I'm fairly sure the breeder kept him on newspaper but I'm not certain

And yes, the warm side gets about 87-90

No worries at all! Seriously, it's great when people ask questions. It's the best way to provide the best care for your gecko. Ask as many as you want about anything at all. That is what the forum is for. =)

I can be a little formal in my posts, I guess, but I'm not trying to be unfriendly or make you feel like you shouldn't ask.
