geckos not eating

hey guys i was wondering if anyone could help me i have two male leopard geckos in separate enclosures and they havent eaten in over a month. I heard that leopard geckos go through a brumation period and one of my males sounds like he is going through that because he just stays in his cool hide box, sleeps and doesnt want to eat but my other male stays on his hot side, sleeps, and doesnt want to eat. Is this a big problem? another question is when they come out of brumation because im not sure right now and if there are any steps i should take to ensure they are okay

You can get them out of brumation by changing the photoperiod and/or the temp. Also your humidity could be incorrect. Another possibility is that your enclosure might be too large and they're stressed. They could also be impacted but as long as they are still pooping you're ok.
As a start you could try feeding them is smaller separate containers. If that doesn't work check your husbandry.

I have a number of geckos that haven't eating in a few months. Some of them are starting to eat again about now and have not noticeably lost any weight. Two of them have lost weight and I'm working on hand feeding them. If your geckos look about the same as they looked when they were eating, don't worry they'll pick up soon. My males who are all with their females are not eating hardly at all because they're more interested in the females!

I know my leo usually stops eating around spring and sometimes fall. She just simply isn't hungry. However, she never loses any weight and never appears to be sick or unwell. She goes into these fasting periods regularly, sometimes she goes months while only eating a cricket every few weeks. From my own experience and from what I've heard from other gecko owners and the vet, sometimes they simply aren't hungry for awhile. As long as she isn't losing any weight and doesn't have any other worrying symptoms, my advise is to just keep offering food maybe once a week or so, maybe leave a bowl of mealworms in there for your leo to snack on, and just monitor her condition. if she doesn't seem sick and isn't losing weight, she should be fine.
