If a Leo has Crypto or Coccidia is it possible for them to pass it on to other Leos? I am asking this because I am concerned that my other Leos may catch it if it is possible.
Today when I woke up I went to check my Geckos and when I checked my oldest Leo he was in his humid hide. He was not moving and when I went to pick him up he was dead. When I turned him over he had a large brown spot in the middle of his torso. My second question is what was that brown spot on his belly? The day before he just shed and I fed him a few crickets and mealworms, he was fine until this morning. Then while cleaning up his cage this morning I found what looked to be a regurgitated shedded skin bundle.
Now I believe he had Crypto. If this helps he was 8 years old. All my other leos are in their own separate 10 gallon cage. They are all kept in the same room and are next to each other on one shelf. So can they catch this disease? My oldest leo, Zane did not show any signs of Crypto besides the shedded skin bundle.
