Help! Possibly Gravid Rescue?

I took in this female today from a former coworker who had her with a male unknowingly. She got them as babies and was told they both should be female and never thought to check them after that. *sigh*

Anyway, She is 8 months old, 6.5-7" and 44g. I'm afraid she maybe gravid, but I'm still studying and learning to judge this myself. I have a few photos I took so hopefully you guys can confirm, or better yet, deny my suspicions.

For the time being I have her in a quarantine tank with food, water, calcium, and different dry and moist hides. She is adapting well so far and has a voracious appetite.

Based on the pictures I don't think she's gravid, but I've been wrong before. Get her a lay box just in case and see what "develops".

Thank you! I am hoping she isn't! I am afraid it will be too hard on her little body!

I have loose coco fiber in her moist hides will that be sufficient for laying just in case? Or do I need to get vermiculite or something else?

The moist hides are Glad containers with holes cut in the top so she can come and go as she wants, but I can see in without disturbing her.

Ugh! I can very clearly see eggs now! She is definitely gravid! [emoji30]

The eggs are approximately 3/4" in length. Any idea of how long I have before she might start laying? Also is there anything I can do to make this as healthy for her as possible? She is still only 45g, but she is eating like a horse, hasn't lost any tail just not gaining and clean fecal. I want to make her lays as stress free as possible. I'm worried about her small size as well. [emoji20] Any tips or suggestions?

45 g isn't too bad. Not ideal, but not terrible.

It's sort of unusual for a female to eat that far along. They usually stop entirely and than resume after they lay the clutch. Are you sure you're not just seeing fat pads? I personally (not being super experienced yet with breeding) have trouble telling eggs from fat pads.

Anyways, The best thing you can do is make sure she has the ideal place to lay and have a dish of calcium, no D3 in the tank for her, as well as proper dusting. Have you noticed any digging behaviors? If she starts digging, you'll know that she in within a few days of laying.

I guess I shouldn't say like a horse but she will take a few mealworms which I thought was good considering.

Just realized the pics above aren't her. They are of my Cheech when I was sexing her chunky butt. I used my phone so I could zoom in and posted the wrong pics. :-(

Anyway, this is my rescue girl.

They look like eggs to me, but she is long and lean so hopefully fat pads? She does have a nice fat tail. I have lots of reptile experience, but I am a newer to Leos and I've never bred any herps before. Leos will be my first experience.

I haven't seen any digging yet, but she is pretty reclusive. During the day she doesn't do much of anything but lay around in a hide, usually the moist hide/lay box but if she sees me then she freezes.

I would definitely have a lay box ready, it does appear that she has eggs and may lay soon. Looks very similar to how my female did before she laid on 1/3/15

Thanks. I have been looking through those to try to help me decide. I have the lay boxes in place. Incubator and medium at the ready in case she does lay eggs, but I am so confused. She is still eating and she isn't at all fat around the middle (just long and slender), so she isn't showing any of the classic signs. She is becoming less friendly about being handled. She has always been kind of shy but tolerates it well. Now she squawks at me when ever I pick her up. Is this an effort to protect her eggs?
