How Long After Stopping Eating Did Your Female Lay Eggs?

My rescue girl went off of her food last night, so the time is getting close. She did have a really good meal Tuesday (2 large crickets & 8 large mealworms) so I'm glad for that. Yesterday and Today when I offer her food she looks at me like I am crazy and walks away... Usually she gets all excited and will eat 10-15 mealworms a day.

Anyway, it had me thinking generally how long does it take for a Leo to lay eggs after she stops eating? I know all Leos are different so the times will vary, but I am looking for an average time span. Wouldn't hurt to know the longest and shortest your Leo has gone, though.

I have had her coco fiber lay box in with her since I got her (doubles as humid hide) and I check it twice a day... Around 10am and 10pm.

Also, on average how long until your girls go back on feed? When should I start to worry if she hasn't ate after laying? I have been keeping a dish of mealworms in her tank everyday and switching them daily for freshly gut loaded ones, in case she does want to eat. Although she is used to tong feeding so I offer her one when I see she is awake to see if she is interested.

Sorry for all the questions, but this is my first breeding experience and it is happening a lot sooner than I had planned due to taking in my little rescue (I need a name for her), so although I feel pretty confident I want to learn from other people's experiences.

Same here my leo is due for her second clutch and has not eaten for about 3 days now. stating to wonder about whether she is going to lay soon or not. checked her belly today and couldnt get a good verification if shes ready or not.

Last clutch she waited about a week i believe.

Not all will go off food before laying. I have several females that keep on eating right on through and would eat while pushing them out if they could.

Ha! This would probably be me during childbirth if I could! I always get the "you're so skinny, do you ever eat?" comments but I'm always shoving food in my face. LOL
