I know this may have been asked a million times but I'm new to this forum and I know most leopard geckos can't truley be sexed until certain ages...mine are a little over 4 months old and I stressed the poor things out tryng to get decent pictures to see if I could tell for sure if they are male or female. If I post pics could someone please help me to see if it is noticable yet or are they still to young? They are both in the same setup and get along very well and I know two females (which I was told I got when I purchased them) get along but if they are male and female or two males I know I'll have to separate them and I don't want to wait to long and one of them get hurt if they are two males. Thank you so much for any info and help you can give me :main_yes:

Thanks I'll try and see if I can get them on here...this is a few of the first one I have. Like I said they are just a little over four months so I don't expect a positive but just a clue would help me tons!

That's what I was afraid of....I didn't want to have to separate them. They never fight and each sleep in their own little cave but I know that can change and I don't want them fighting or hurting each other. Have you ever know of two males actually being able to live together or is it to much of a risk? What age do they mature enough to start fighting and claiming their space? Sorry for so many questions but my Gargoyle Gecko and my Tree Frog have their own tank so those I don't worry about but these two are housed together and I just worry about them. Thank you for your help and quick repsonse to the pictures.

I have been told that possibly two males housed together since they were hatchlings and never coming into contact (by sight or smell) of a female could get along together. I was in a pet store once that had 2 male AFT adults together who were doing OK. I wouldn't risk it though. I had 2 steppe runners that I bought as juveniles and when they got bigger one bullied the other to death.

Thank you so much for your help. I received them both in the same box from hatchlings and so far they have never been apart...they each have their own caves and plenty of space and they even share a cave at times but I was really hoping they were females so I could leave them together. I would just rather be safe than sorry.
