It depends on a lot of things:
Was the gecko ovulating when bred?
Was the breeding effective?
Is the gecko fertile?

As I mentioned in another thread, I put 5 females with 4 males at the end of Jan. To date:
1 had laid
1 has eggs
2 are ovulating but no eggs yet
1 is not yet ovulating

All of them have bred.

Check you female's belly. You may see the eggs and/or signs of ovulation. You can google for images of these 2 things.

She was ovulating I put the male with her February 3-5 and the first night I watched a failed attempt to breed so I'm assuming the bred in that time I've tried checking for eggs but it's hard to see on her belly but I think I can feel eggs I'm not sure because this is my first time breeding

As long as the male isn't damaging her it should be OK. I leave my males and females together for the entire breeding season without problems.
