I have three geckos, but the two that are housed together are females. I promised one of my co workers, she could have one of the females, the more docile one, since she was interested in getting one, and I'd rather her have one that will just glare rather than be extremely feisty. But the problem is, I told her I would give her a tank she could go in, one that is already set up for a gecko with the heat pad and everything. I had plans to prep a third tank for the geckos anyways, but haven't gotten around to it. So the problem is, I was going to put my male in with the second female, but I don't know when their breeding season ends. I don't really want to breed them, I just want to get them introduced and able to stay together a few days until I can get the other tank set up for him. At the same time I'm worried that Quinn, the female I'm keeping, is going to have problems since she has always been with another gecko... I'm not really sure how they are with each other, but she always seemed to like to be cuddled up to her tank mates (both before I got her and after.)
I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum, and I know I went off topic of breeding, so if it needs to be moved, I'm sorry. Just figured I'd get a better answer here.
