Unexpected eggs

So a few weeks ago I had attempted to see if I could house two of my other leos together, thinking both of them were female.

Boy was I wrong. Strife, my MP, turns out is a boy - he was quick to show that he was fully capable and willing to mate with his possible cagemate (a confirmed female). His pores and bulge were slow to develop and only started to show a few days after his victory.

Now Deimos, the female, has laid two eggs. Wasn't expecting them or planning on breeding but eh, live and learn. Problem is, she has laid her first clutch and one egg was done vertically. I don't think it has been in there for more than a day, is there a way to figure out which side would be best for placing it horizontally as to not kill the embryo? Both seem like they might be a viable eggs, good size, round and whiteish (laid in eco earth so the color is a bit off). I do have a spare cage so I can hatch them and provide housing.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can candle it to see if you can see a little air sac at the top of the egg, that's usually the side facing upwards, if not then it's a guessing game and patience

With the eco earth discoloring the eggs fairly well (she dug all the way down to the bottom of her lay box - a good 2+ in deep) I can't really make out much of anything when candling them. Hoping they're duds since I'd hate to accidentally kill anything, but am incubating them anyway.
