It depends on what you mean by "breeding season starting". Do you mean how many geckos are ovulating? How many have laid eggs? How many people have put males with females?
In my case, I usually keep the breeding groups together for the season and intend to separate the males out for about 6 weeks in the fall/winter. This is usually the time I put them back in their new configurations. Two things happened this year that changed my plans:
I have more juveniles than usual, so I don't have enough empty cages for separating the males
Last month I heard tail rattling and realized I had to get the new configurations in place before I got results I didn't want.
So, as of a few weeks ago, the geckos are in their new configurations. I have one female that ovulated very early last season (too young to breed, though, last season) and has once again ovulated early. She may be gravid, so I guess you could say that my season with the leopard geckos has started.
The season with the Coleonyx elegans started unexpected 3 weeks ago when I got a clutch from my female.

Thanks for the reply Aliza, What I was referring to was a combination of how many geckos are Ovulating, and how many are being paired at this point.. Several of my geckos were already ovulating by early december last year.. none yet for me this season yet that I can tell anyway..

I turn my temps down to around 86 in the winter until about February so none of my geckos are currently ovulating. I'll turn the temps up when spring starts to show itself :)

Mine started about a month ago. I already have 7 eggs cooking with many females ready to lay more.

My only female big enough to produce eggs is ovulating, but I am going to put a bit more weight on her before breeding her. She's a lavendar RADAR and I plan to breed her to my male RADAR. Plus I am going through a move in about 2 months so I don't want to have to worry about moving an incubator into a new home.

I have 13 eggs cooking from 4 leos with the first due to hatch around next week. (I still have 6 leos to sell from last season). I also have 1 AFT egg, 6 gargoyle eggs and 6 Coleonyx elegans eggs cooking.
