So as my other post explains, my male acts a bit on the slow side. I am reading a copy of Herptoculture of Leopard Geckos. They explain the pairing of geckos in detail. I understand that unless near ovulation the females are not receptive, however my male doesn't even do the drumming or posturing that you would expect when a female is present. I don't see how it would be possible for him to know right away she isn't receptive, I mean, virtually without trying, so any ideas on that?
