Is it a success?

Hey guys, I just mated my leopard gecko justnow. My female is a supersnow while my male is a reverse stripe raptor. The mating duration was quite brief that it didn't even last for 2 minutes, and my female started moving away from the male. The male continues to rattle his tail after the copulation, and try to get on the female again. But, the female keep moving away whenever he try to get on her. So, I'm not really sure if this mating is successful. Any idea?

It was probably successful. Copulation in leopard geckos takes barely any time at all. The male continuing to want to mount her is a little unusual. If you're worried it wasn't successful, pair them again tomorrow. Especially for my first-timers, I pair them several times just to make sure. Many people even leave them together and I'm sure they mate many times when this is done.

Yeah they are both first-timers. I dare not leave my female with the male together as the bite from male at the neck of my female was quite hard from the mating yesterday that it even leave a mark there. But, I will try to pair them again tonight to see how thing goes. Thanks!
