Egg Lain Yellow, Unexpected Egg

The egg was lain Jan 26 and so far it actually seems fine except the only problem is when candled it will show this yellow color. It was like that since it was lain, but I've heard rumors that it doesn't mean it's always infertile. Is that true?

Also on the other note, the egg was lain unexpectedly and what I mean is that I never bred them together recently or infact at all. I currently store the two eggs at 86F - 87F.

Any ideas on what I should continue to do, to keep the eggs or just throw them?

If the female was never exposed to a male, than the egg is infertile. Many females will ovulate and lay infertile eggs during breeding season.

Also, usually eggs come in pairs, so you might want to check if she has another one and observe for any straining. I've had females lay one egg, though, so it's probably fine.
