I've been incubating 2 eggs for about 14 days. Steady 80-81 degrees. May have warmed a couple degrees above today and now they are badly dented. Are they bad now?
I tried to cover them more hoping the moisture would help.
This is my first clutch.

They aren't bad until they start smelling horrible, collapse on theirselves, etc. Keep incubating until you know that there is absolutely no hope for them. A bit of denting doesn't mean they are ruined. [emoji4]

Thank you. Unfortunatly the denting is seeming to be turning more into collapsing. On a more positive note, I think she is about ready to lay her next clutch. Hopefully better luck this time.

Sometimes that happens with the first clutch of the season, even with proven breeders. Better luck with your next eggs! :)

Just got home and she laid them. Not looking promising though. Candeling showed plain yellow. Still put them in with hopes of miracle.

Recandeled. Defiantly fertile. Yay. So excited. If I wasn't holding one when I saw I would have jumped up and down. First fertile eggs.
