Mini incubators

For someone like me, a hobbyist that may only have a couple of clutches each year from a breeding trio (1.2), a hovabator can take up a lot of space. There are a couple of mini incubators on the market that are clearly marketed for poultry/bird eggs, but I was wondering if anyone had used and had any success with them for incubating leopard gecko (or other reptile) eggs and what brand & model you used?

I'm just curious, why do you assume you'll only have a few clutches from two females? Each female can lay around 10 clutches, giving you a potential of 40+ eggs for two females. Of course, 10 clutches isn't always the case, especially for first timers, but it happens. My first timer is on her 5th clutch now and not showing any signs of stopping. All of her eggs have been fertile so far (even though most didn't quite make it because my technique was flawed), so if I had two of her and correct incubation techniques from the start, I would already have 20 fertile eggs with more on the way.

Only one clutch at a time though, right? Regardless, I don't really have room for a large incubator so I probably wouldn't try to incubate every egg they laid. So as far as the original question, have you ever used a mini incubator?

Well, incubating for males, you would probably have two clutches at a time from each female. Incubating for females, you would probably have four clutches from each at a time.

Anyways, no, I haven't used a mini incubator. I use a styrofoam cooler. I had a hovabator at one point, and I thought it was pretty small. I've never tried to use poultry egg incubators, but I found this article on it: Our Blog - Can I Hatch Reptiles in my Poultry Incubator?
