When should I expect these ladies to make their debut? Laid march 28th and are in the hovabator at 84 according to that thermometer and to a zoo med one 80. Should I be worried? Is cutting ever the right thing to do? Thank you!

If they were laid on March 28th, that would make them 51 days old. 84 will probably not give you all females, and you can expect them to hatch very likely within the next 10 days. =)

Some people cut eggs, but I personally don't. if the egg is meant to hatch, it will. If not, it won't. I had an egg incubated at 85 hatch on day 75. No need to cut.

EDIT: Sorry, I missed the bit on the ZooMed thermometer. At 80, I would expect hatching somewhere around day 60.

No worries, thank you for the response. I did candle them a little today (just a quick at distance glance) and 75% of the egg is baby :) these are my first ever eggs so I've been so impatient lol! The excitement of not knowing what they will look like has me checking 4-5 times a day! :)

I know how you feel. =) I struggle with the patience aspect of this hobby as well. Just a couple weeks ago I was fretting about my eggs on here, and then they both hatched very soon after on days 60 and 61. Today is day 56 for my next oldest clutch, so I'm also entering the phase of checking the incubator way too often.
