Giant Leopard Gecko Eggs

I bought a pair of giant leopard geckos awhile back. The female laid her first egg today. The egg looks huge compared to any eggs I have come in contact with. It looks about twice the size of a normal leopard gecko egg. I had a couple questions and was hoping this forum could help me out. Thanks so much in advance.

1) Do giant leopard geckos only lay one egg at a time?
2) Are giant leopard geckos eggs typically larger than regular leopard geckos eggs?

Any Leo can lay one egg at a time although they usually lay 2.

I don't think egg size has much to do with the morph, just the individual Leo. We have some normal sized girls that lay bigger eggs than our giants.

I knew that it was possible for them to lay a single egg but had never seen an egg so large. The egg does seem to be a dud. It was a shock to see it this morning. Thanks for the feedback.

Our last egg last season was huge. It came from one of our non-giant pairs. I was sure my hatchling would be huge but baby orbie was only 1 gram. He was so tiny.
