I woke up today to what i thought was birds, but what was actually 2 screaming geckos that just met the world. Ill upload picture in the afternoon right now i have to go to school. I also noticed one on the back feet it has 2 toes and the other foot has 3 other then that the geckos are fine. Will the missing toes affect him?

Edit: I now realize i posted this in egg incubation :p

I'll move the post for you. The missing toes won't affect the gecko's quality of life but it will be important to point it out to prospective buyers, and if more from this pairing have deformities you should probably retire the breeders.

The other one is fine and healthy, sadly the one with the missing toes died the next day, it was half the size of the other one. I have him in a ten gallon but have everything on one side with a hide over the heat pad, and a moist hide. When will he/she start eating, he hatched the 23.

Keep the paper towels damp and humidity high in the tank for the first few days until the shed. I wouldn't leave crickets in with a baby leo as they might chew on him/her when you're not looking. Mealworms or dubia in a small dish are best IMO :) Good luck with him!
