Leopard Gecko Breeding: How Many You Need to Breed

In 2013 I hatched 3 leopard geckos, I was younger. 13 at the time lol, I was wondering how many leopard gecko breeding pairs/adults in general to hatch around 10-20 geckos. I want more geckos to be able to sell because I want to make atleast a little profit. I understand the responsibilty behind this and am willing to accept any answer! Thank you

I would say a 1 male to 2 female trio would be perfect for 10-20 hatchlings.

It's a hard question to answer. One female can lay 20 eggs that hatch (it's happened to me before). My first season I had 1 male and 2 females and got 13 hatchlings, so probably the 1.2 suggestion above makes sense. If you're hoping to have fun, go for it. If you're hoping to make a profit, forget it.

Hahaha definitely true with the profit, yeah it's definetely to have fun, and prove to my biology teacher that I do know a bit lol

2-3 at most. Last season I bred 3 females and had 24 live, healthy hatchlings.

I don,t keep score, but I doubt I make any profit. But I probable break even and make trades with other breeders so I'm constantly getting new stuff without spending any more money atlest
