Heating question, quick response saught out please :)

should the heat be on 24/7? we do not have air conditioning that reaches our room (apartment, only windows in kitchen across the place) so it stays about 80 in our room, do i need to keep their heat on constant? for the first hatchling (3 days old) i hadnt thought about it and have had the heat cable off at night. im sorry if i made a boo boo doing that, i truly hadnt thought about it or seen anything when i did my research.

I have no AC and leave all my heat on 24/7 (with thermostats). If it gets hot in the summer --and it gets into the 90's in my living room in July sometimes-- the geckos go to the cool side.
