Hey Guys,

Do super snows generally grow slower than other animals. I have two female Super Snows from last seasons babies. They both are eating regularly, however they are growing slower my my other animals. All my other "babies" will be ready to breed next season, while my super snows are literally half the size.

It's something I've heard mentioned in passing about super snows when they originally were discovered, although I'm not sure if newer lines have managed to eliminate the problem.

I wonder if it's unique to super snows. I have about 25 hatchlings right now and a small percentage of them (including, initially, one super snow) are slow to grow. So I don't know if it's really the super snows, or if the people who noticed this just didn't have that many hatchlings.

I have to tell my Super Snow female was a real opposite of this, growing 2 times faster than any other geckos I raised yet. In my opinion, it is just matter of some geckos, maybe it just happens to appear a bit more often in super snows.

Hey All,

Just an update, its been over a year since I posted this, and she is still REALLY small for her age, she has yet to reach 40 grams, although she eats like a pig..
