This is a newly hatched leopard gecko whose toes are stuck together. It looks as though there's stuck shed on the toes, but this gecko could not have shed yet. There could have only been a few hours between it hatching and me seeing it.

I would recommend giving it a warm soak in about 1/4" of water and seeing if you can remove it (you may need to look at it with a magnifying glass to see if it possibly is shed, or some kind of webbing). It could also be dried yolk from hatching, and the soak would dissolve that. If it looks like webbing, just keep an eye on it and see what happens when it actually does shed.

Thank you so much for your response, it didn't dissolve in the water..
It looks almost as if the foot is in a pouch of skin. I'll be watching out for that first shed.

Looks like I took her out too soon. After a little more soaking the toes separated one by one.
