Gecko health after power outtage

Hey Guys,

So last week, due to a storm a lot of people in the area (thousands) lost power. My hatchlings were fine before power went out, when power went out I put heat packs in with them (as I usually do - if I were to lose power). However several days after power was restored, I noticed that some of them were walking funny (almost with a limp). Upon closer inspection, I noticed that their legs were bent in a strange way. This has me concerned, as I have never seen anything like this before? Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

I have had this happen with hatchlings because I was relying entirely on dusting their feeders for them to get the calcium and vitamin D3 they needed. I had a few that were walking funny and realized it was early signs of MBD. I started keeping a small amount of calcium (without D3) in the enclosure and the symptoms disappeared. By the time they finished the calcium, they had grown enough to be able to get their supplements from the dusted feeders.

Thank you so much Aliza,

I am currently relying on dusting as well.. I will try to keep extra in the enclosure, and see if that helps.
