I think it was around 5 in 2008. In 2009, I stopped counting after I was well beyond the 100 mark.

Using last year's offspring, some of my original breeders, and a few strategic acquisitions, I have been able to refine my current groups considerably, thereby allowing me cut down the total number of animals I keep and reduce the number of hatchlings I will produce in 2010. A rough estimate, accounting for duds and poor developers, leaves me with a likely production of only 30 to 45 hatchlings this year. I am looking forward to it.

I kinda doin the same thing, I had probs selling all 09 babys since some one will sell them to the place I was for less than 10 each. So this year im only breeding 3 or 4 to start with and am considering vending once a month at the all animal show in Wheaton IL. I pretty much cut out all chances of producing normals with the exception of my shtctb group. I find it really hard to sell them unless I sell them in whole sale groups. Thanks for the info

I'd have to count last year, but I'd say I hatched 30+ babies. This season should be more, but it's hard to guess this early on.

It's hard to respond because I don't know what this season will bring. For my first 4 seasons I hatched20-40 but last season it was closer to 80.

We hatched 18 our first year and over 40 this past year, which was a lot of work. I am trying to keep our numbers between 30 and 40 for future seasons.

Last season I hatched 49. And my gecko mate Tim from Cap City hatched 55 or so. This year will probably be more but I'm trying to keep it to about the same. Tim on the other hand is out of control, lol. I bet he'll double that.

I hatched between 40 to 50 last year and I hope to stay in the same range or maybe a little less this year. I am only working on a few projects and don't believe I need to hatch a ton of babies this year.

I hatched 68 babies last year and Steve's right. I am out of control and hope to double that this season. LOL
It's a blast setting up at reptile shows, networking, meeting so many nice people and working on fun projects!
I've always been out of control when it comes to animals and I don't see that changing any time soon. :)

Let's just say I have hatched over 1000 in a season in the past, but don't plan to make more than 150-200 this season.
