Anthony Molnar posted this over on the Gecko Nation Facebook group, and I just had to share here as well. Around the 27:30 mark in this documentary, there is a small segment featuring a wild leopard gecko hunting and eating a scorpion. Very cool! And a tiny glimpse at a native habitat as well.

Yes, what we deem 'healthy' for the geckos is the America look. Granted, the pencil thin look you see in the video isn't particularly favorable, but for everyone to think their gecko NEEDS a fat tail, etc. is ludicrous. They're healthier when they're slender and well built, and what we've seen over the past years is that the ones continually bred for larger size and maintained as larger weights are slowly proving to be less fertile than the smaller, more slender geckos we saw even 4-5 years ago.
