Humidity...

Ive got my little girl in a 10 gallon tank right now with paper towel as a substrate for the time being. Her humid hide is a tupperware with paper towels that i mist 2 times maybe more a day. I also spray her whole tank 2 or more times. The tank still seems to be bone dry. I was wondering how you get your tanks humid enough for your fat tails. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks so much.

Are you using a screen top? Try a sheet of pegboard cut to fit instead. You can also use a substrate like soil or eco earth instead of paper towel. Is this for your fatty who just dropped her tail? If so I would try pegboard first, and if that doesn't do the trick switch substrates once her tail heals over and starts to regrow.

ya this is my fatty who dropped her tail. Im picking up 2 tanks later this week to put my leos in and one for her. I hope her tail grows back soon so i can put eco earth in or something the paper towels suck with humidity. I will try the peg board and see what happens.
