Difference between whiteout and oreo

I'm having a hard time distinguishing the difference between a whiteout and Oreo morph. Can someone please explain? Thanks in advance.

Oreos are banded and Whiteouts have a broken/ random pattern.

I think it's a little more than that. As I understand it, white-outs are co-dominant and oreos are recessive. I checked out the Urban Reptile site, and while most of their whiteouts are "aberrant" and most of the oreos are banded, there are exceptions. I'm not sure that it's really possible to tell some individual examples apart just from looking at them.
