Breeding my first pair of fat tails in 2016, and I know as far as husbandry goes, fatties just like a bit higher humidity, but is the care and incubation of their eggs the same as leopard geckos?

yes, it's the same essentially. However:
--the low end for fattie egg incubation is more like 82 as opposed to about 80 for leopard geckos
--I have found there are more fattie eggs that get laid and don't hatch than leo eggs. That may just be me, but I think others have had the same experience
--I have found fattie eggs to take a bit longer to hatch than leo eggs.
