I've been trying to breed my fat tails for a while now, I could see some eggs forming in her belly. Silly me, I went away for a couple days and when I came back there were eggs. I have no Idea when she laid. They don't look yellow, wrinkly or squishy..are they okay to incubate? I have them in my incubator right now. Please help.

Keep them in till they either hatch or stink. There's no way to know. I find that the hatch rate with my fat tails is somewhat lower than with my leopard geckos, but other people have had better success. There should be more eggs in a few weeks anyway.

Do you possibly know how long to incubate them? I can't find anything on fat tail incubation. Also, I ran out of vermiculite so I'm using eco earth. Is it normal to turn color on the spots they are touching the dirt? Thanks for the help.

You could try the candlelight view. In a dim or dark room try checking the eggs via the light from a candle flame (of course, in a safe distance between egg and fire). Red veins should be visible as well as black dots as those are the eyes and one of the first body parts to develop

Incubation time depends on the temperature. I incubate at about 84 and they were taking about 9-10 weeks.

I do believe I see some veins. Its kind of hard to tell since the eco earth is stuck to the eggs. They don't have an odor, and seem plump. Is it normal for them to be a little soft? When you squish it a little, you can feel the shell move but it bounces back.
