Nest guarding?

I have this female, caramel albino. Once she lays a clutch, she guards them. Has done this with the last two clutches. She stands on top of her nest and hisses and lunges at me when I go to remove the eggs. Not sure how long she would guard the nest, haven't tried to see. But after I removed the eggs this morning, she went back into the lay box. Anyone else experienced this with their geckos?

Mine tend to spend a lot of time in their nest box in general so I'm not sure if mine is standing over her eggs to guard them or just because that's where they like to be and would choose that spot eggs or not. None of mine have ever acted protectively or lunged, hissed or acted different than normal (other than being super hungry!) after laying though.
