I glanced into my cresties cage to find that dirt was on the side of his mouth. He looked really weak and the only part of him that will move are his legs & arms. His tail is crooked and his eyes have sunked into his head. I have been feeding him normally and doing everything else normally. He seems to be getting weaker so please, if anyone knows what I can do to save him, please reply!!! Thank you so much!!!

Sounds like he needs immediate medical attention. Call an herp vet and tell them you have an emergency on the way.

That was my girlfriend that posted yesterday, I was gone for a week getting enlisted for the army, and she was watching my geckos. Well I got back and he was in bad shape, I switch him from paper towels to coco fiber about 2 months ago, and he hasn't acted the same since. I figured I would give him time to settle in, But when i got back yesterday he would barley move. I weighed him and he was down to 20 grams, It turns out she had totally forgot that the crestie needed to be misted, so it had not been misted in a week, It was very dehydrated, and needed to shed. I put him back on paper towels, and soaked him in lukewarm water for about 15 minutes and he started drinking that water immediately. i helped him get his shed off and got him hydrated, he is moving around so much better today and he is already up to 30 grams. Can anyone give me some tips on getting him to eat his crested gecko diet, there was a 1 month period where my pet store was out of it that i had to switch him to baby food, and now he wont switch back to the cgd.

try mixing a little c.g.d into baby food and slowly use less and less baby food everytime you feed. Also you can try and put some c.g.d on your finger or Q-tip and they will uesaly eat from that. Is he getting better she said his mouth was full of coco is that crap out of his mouth?
Yeah she told me that there was just a little on the side of his mouth, I soaked him for about 10 min yesterday and massaged his stomach, and i did that for about 10 minutes today too, I just hope he didn't eat to much of it, I switched him to paper towels so i will be able to see poo better now, Right now he is doing way better that yesterday so i will keep a close eye on him to make sure he doesn't get worse.
