Wondering if someone can answer this for me =]

I got my first crested gecko about two months ago. She is pretty small and doesnt appear to have grown at all in these two months. when should she really take off with growth? Ive heard a lot of different things but havent been able to really pinpoint a time when she should start getting larger.

If she's poopin' and shedding she is growing. Since they don't get all that big to begin with you really can't notice the growing. I had 4 babies this last year....3 I feed CGD only and one I feed dusted live feeders. The one with insect diet is deffinetly bigger. Try increasing the protien if you have not already.
If I had to put a time on when they started bulking up I would say 6 months.

These guys grow really slowly, and it varies per gecko also. Offering crickets to often will take away from the well balanced diet that CGD offers. Offering crickets 1-2 times a week is fine, more then that you are missing out on the balance. Although offering crickets more often does increse growth, remember there is nothing wrong with slower growth. Actually power feeding can causing more rapid growth is actually seriously unhealthy for these guys as they need the nutrition from the CGD. And many breeders do not even offer crickets, CGD only. Remember these guys are not fully mature until 14-16 months in age, they are not fast growers.

Normally cresties do not really jump in growth until they hit around 10g, then it is very rapid, next thing you know they will be 20g. But once they hit around 25g they tail off into a slower growth.

These guys seem to not grow for months, then all of a sudden take off growing. Depending on where you live, temps can affect their growth rate too. I live in WA state and mine tend to grow slowly, they take about 2-3 years (give or take) to reach adult size/weights. but we're consistently cool here.
I would only offer crickets every other week to make sure your little one is established on the Crested gecko diet, and not holding out for the crickets.
You can also gutload your crickets on the CGD.
The best thing about them being slow growers is, they don't take up a lot of space! :D
