Well in the pics your missing the important bits. If it was a male you would probably know it. Judging by its size if it was a male you would clearly see hemipenal bulges.
I'd like to see what's below the tail as well. I think I see pores but to be sure I'd need a 30x loupe and the gecko in my hand. Bulges will tell you for sure what you have. They sometimes don't come in until 25g+ but they're unmistakable on a crested!
I'm pretty sure I see pores and with that bulge I would say probable male. As I said before tho, it can be tough to tell with questionable ones before they hit 25g.
I know this is late, but I'll say it anyway. The bulge will be behind his vent, onto his tail. It will kinda look like a pair of testicles. You are missing the most important picture, the vent. Here's a comparison of a male and female crested gecko.

From the pictures in the link you posted, it looks like a juvenile male more than a very large female.
