Hi all,

I'm relatively new to the site so wanted to say hello to everyone.

I am the proud owner of a crested gecko - Nibbles.

I recently updated his terrarium, which is an 18 x 18 x 24 Exo Terra with a brand new medium sized Exo Terra waterfall.


Would love to hear what you think of it! Any comments or suggestions?

Looking good! If you don't mind a few suggestions:
- Create some more horizontal resting places using sticks/bamboo/cork that run across the tank. That way, the gecko can jump and climb without always being on the glass.
- Because you have a light on the terrarium, some more cover to create dark hiding spots higher up in the cage might be appreciated by your gecko. It would probably be effective it if covered up a portion of the background.

Another thing that could be used would be a bamboo or cork tube. It creates a more horizontal resting spot and provides cover out of the light.

Hi indyana,

Thanks for the suggestions, I have a medium sized tree base that was in there until I put the waterfall in and I have added a branch that I had in prior. He seems to prefer to be in the back plant on the right during the day and he moves around at night.

I'll see what I can do and will post more pics once changes have been made!
