Hi

I posted a couple of months ago because I was having problems with my crested gecko but nothing has changed! He was lovely and docile in the shop and when I brought him home but after a few days with me he became really bitey and aggressive. He seldom seems nervous and he’s fine with me putting my hand in the viv to change water/mist etc, he just bites every time I try to handle him.I feed him repashy, calcium dusted mango or pear baby puree and occasionally calcium dusted crickets or grasshoppers (which he loves.) The temperature is 26 degrees and I mist twice daily and have a humidity monitor. Is there anything I’m doing wrong?! Any suggestions for why this might be happening? I’ve included some photos of the tank so you can check that his set up is ok.Thank you in advance for any reply!Jess

Not sure about the 26 degrees part, but Cresteds are like any animal and have Personalities, some are lovey and docile like my Brindle Phantom Reverse Pinstripe, and a lovey but wild and crazy Harley Pinstripe. You can try keeping his temps lower the temps a bit to chill him out high 60s or 70 should chill him out more. Who knows you could have one that has recent caught Wild Crested in it.
