This is my first crested gecko and I'm trying to find out what colours he is or the morph if there is one. I've always been a leopard gecko guy but the first time I got to hold this little guy I was automatically addicted. They are so interesting and though I'm new I'm hoping someone can possibly help me figure out his colours. In the picture he looks like just 1 colour but when he's in your hand.you can see that he is not. One colour seems yellow and the other maybe beige creme or blonde?

All I can tell you is that I see crested geckos with lots of interesting morph names and they all just look *brown* to me!

I'm actually confused by the morphs myself all I see are different colours I really don't see a difference in them. I was drawn to how much different he was from my Leo's.

Crested morphs are all line bred or poly morphic. Breeding one morph to another usually results in something inbetween both. Because of this the morph names are not as important as they are with leopard geckos or other species that have (some) names that indicate the more predictable genes they have. Moon Valley Reptiles: Crested Gecko Morph Guide: Colors, Morphs and Traits | moonvalleyreptiles.com has one of the best morph guides for cresteds out there. Everything is pretty loosely defined. If I had to put a label on yours I'd call him a yellow with some cream on the sides. If there's a lot more cream on his dorsal than what I can see he could potentially be called a yellow flame.
