Female crested gecko weight

Just received my first female crested gecko and she only weighs 9 grams at the age of one year...is that normal or is she just a small girl? She is nowhere the size of my male crestie who at the same age is almost 4 times her size so I'm wondering if it's a cause for concern or normal.
