Quick question if anyone can answer it
I just bought a new crestie today at a reptile expo. The guy who sold him to me said that he was about 7 months old. Quite a sweetheart and a beauty..as well as being big. I also have another crestie,my first one, that I got 8 months ago, going on 9 months in a few days.
My question is...the new crestie I have is alottttt bigger than my first one...I understand that crestie's grow at different rates, and grow faster or slower depending on genetics, food etc. My first crestie is only 5in long, and 8g..Is this normal?? I got him/her maybe when it was a few weeks old..And since I've been feeding it live food,it has doubled in size..but it's still nothing compared to the new male I got. I'm guessing it's age to be around 8-9 months, and I also noticed that I don't see any bulges either like the new guy,so I'm guessing it's a girl. Does that effect grow also?
If anyone can give me some insight,I'm really be thankful!
