Is he pooping? If he's pooping, he's eating. Gargs are known to not really be interested in bugs as babies, CGD is usually the best way to feed them. If there's no poop, you may want to consider trying some two part diet and experimented with flavors.

I'd say he's fine. If you're finding poop, he's eating, as as he grows he will eat more and poop more often. My gargs didn't eat much at all for the first couple of weeks after I got them and now they are complete pigs, haha.

gargs are a hard species to get eating, babies or adults. The key with them is tough love. You need to focus on getting your gecko to eat cgd over the crickets as that is where the nutrition all is. Once it is eating well on CGD, then try offering crickets. And sometimes just switching up the flavor will get them to eat it. My first garg was a young female, got her from someone who fed mostly baby food, and she wouldnt take to CGD and lost alot of weight. I then offered her mango flavored part 2 diet, she took to it right away. Once she gained everything back that she had lost, it was very easy to switch her from mango to the original formula of CGD. My male, I got him as an older juvie, he didnt take to it at all either, as agin he came from a place that fed mostly baby food. For him he didnt take too long and didnt loose any weight before he finally started gobbling it down. My other 3 girls I got as babies took to it the moment they came home with me, but I have no idea what their breeders offered them.

As for insects, it can be hit or miss with gargs. My adult female wont touch them, doesnt matter the type be it cricket, roach, mealworm, she wants nothing to do with insects. My male garg happily eats crickets and roaches with no problem. Out of my 3 younger females, only 2 will eat crickets and roaches, the other wont touch them. It just goes to show you, some are just not that interested in them, which is why it is so important before offering your gecko insects, to get them well started on CGD.
