Hello,
I have had my Pine Island girl for about 3 years. About a month ago I noticed a very strange yellow ball about the size of a marble on the floor of her cage. Upon closer inspection it looked, and had the texture of, a small bit of bright yellow spray foam. The kind you use for installing doors and windows ect. I though it was very strange and though maybe it had gotten stuck to a piece of wood on accident and made it into her cage. It crumpled up and had texture very similar to spray foam.
Well now a few weeks later I find the same thing mixed in with her poop. I had since cleaned the cage top to bottom so I know it wasnt something strange she ate. I also realize that she did not lay any eggs this summer, while she did last summer. I cant find anything similar on the internet. Her poops in between these two incidents were "normal".
Does anyone have any idea what is going on with her? I feed her a mix of organic yogurt and rephashy. Her behavior has been normal. I have a vet appointment for next Sunday, and plan on having her tested for parasites.
