Here's some pics of Guinness who was purchased today at the Canadian Reptile Breeder's Expo in Toronto Ontario. I picked him up from Northern Gecko he's mainland locale.

I'm not sure if there is morphs for these guys just different appearances depending on if they are from Pine Isle or Mainland blood lines. He appears to have more pattern than other Mainland geckos I have seen but I think there is some natural variation. I'm new to this species though so I'm still learning.

He's beautiful, and I also like his set-up! :main_thumbsup: I wish I were closer to Northern Gecko. They have a fantastic website with awesome cresties, too!! :main_yes:

Interesting fact-
Definately a Mainland form of Chahoua, but there is no white speckling on it's sides, which is not very common. Depending on what island it came from......it could be possible that he could not have this, but what does he look like when fired up? If you put it in the sun, then take a pic we will be able to see. i probably sound nit-picky here....but I really am curious from a scientific standpoint. It could be the result of just plain breeding in captivity that caused this also.
Besides that, I have to tell you that I have worked with alot of geckos and R. Chahoua is my absolute favorite! Congrats, and beautiful specimen (from the looks of things). Remember, that it will get better with each shed!
Also, a shout out to Northern Gecko- They are very great and nice people with amazing geckos! I am not surprised how nice this one is!

I'll be sure to get some more pics once hes settled in, so far he hasn't been eating the greatest so I've been leaving him alone. I'm looking forward to seeing how he will change after each shed!

I noticed that he shed today so I took a couple pics, it looks like more white is coming in on his neck and back. He is eating good now (and finger painting), I put construction paper over 3 sides of his cage that night he started eating so I guess he didn't feel secure before. I'll try and get some natural light pics of him next week.
