Hi Raf,
I just acquired my first N. amyae this morning, and have been giving lots of thought to building a natural vivarium for them, complete with a bio active substrate. I have not had any luck searching the web for N. amyae setups with bio active substrates either, but I imagine it could be done in a similar fashion as with leopard geckos. Mealworms/beetles and isopods should work in N. amyae vivariums just as they do with leos. They would probably appreciate some peat moss or coir mixed in with the sand, at least in pockets. It will be a few months before I start working on a vivarium for them (I am growing them out in a rack), but when I do I will report back!
