Ok I have been kicking around some names and have thought of a few and wanted to ask what you all thought.

Oregon Gecko's
Oregon Giant Gecko's
Giant Geckos


what are your ideas?

I would go with a name that is not the same or similar to other gecko breeders. Do a search on google for names you maybe interested in to help you out.

Oregon gecko was once a sponcer here. And quit the respected breeder taking the name Eric built for years would not be right

I agree, Oregon Gecko should not be used. Any name that is has been used would not be right. Especially Eric's because everyone knew who he was. It would be very confusing.

Try something that might include a landmark you live by. Something like (just examples since I have no idea where you live) Klamath's Giants or Klamath's Giant Geckos.

Siskiyou Geckos.

Borderline Geckos.

I live very close to you.. What morphs are you working on? Did you go to the show in Portland?

Oooh I like those last names! The big tree names would be good ones if you're specializing in big geckos!

If another breeder has the name copy righted and wants to be mean using their name or something really super similar could put you in some hot water as well. Mostly I think it would get annoying if people contacted you asking questions about someone else's geckos...haha

Good luck! I always have a super hard time coming up with names!

Also, I just want to remind you that adding an 's doesn't make something plural. So saying Something Gecko's doesn't make sense to me. It would just be "geckos." Or like Jerry's Geckos, but not Jerry's Gecko's.
